I just want to go on record for anyone else reading this blog, that I have played the Opus #9 and it is great! It's warm and responsive and will sound awesome on the Brandenburg Concerto No. 6 duets we are working on. (Or said we'd work on. Or hope to work on. Robyn are you practicing in your non-existent free time? I need to pull out my own viola....)

Very nice work Robyn. I'm always amazed by your skills and craftsmanship, and I think it's absolutely amazing that you have such a passion for instrument making. I smiled the entire time I read your blog entry. Keep up the stellar work, and I look forward to reading more about your creations in the future.

Nice post, Robyn! I think you should take full advantage of the use of both hands by learning to write greek with one and latin with the other simultaneously. (Or just build violins, whatever.)

There's a liquor store right near us that has Everclear. It's pretty easy to find. (Why doesn't Steve know that?)

Let's see, "A One Handed Violin Maker is like...."

...a dog walker with no feet.

...a night watchman in sunglasses.

...a ballpark vendor with a peanut allergy.

...a violin maker with three kids and a husband overseas. (Wait, you're still probably getting further on your instruments than I am!)

Hope you heal soon, Robyn!

Really good:-). I just add my "scientific"
mistake: With my colleaque we tried to count up accurate capacity of plaster form for four hours. Result was we tried to get bigger pot :-).
Have a nice day JK

Nice, thanks for explaining the purpose behind the mold. without understanding the complexities of repair most people might take for granted the complexities.
